gizmo and Dell are working together to bring personalised, in-home computer services to your doorstep. gizmo’s range of set up, networking and repair services are designed to take the hassle out of buying and maintaining your computer at home.

gizmo is an Australian company that provides comprehensive in-home or phone technical support for a wide range of technologies used in the home. As the computer and its related gadgets becomes more and more a part of our everyday lives, gizmo is here to help you get the most out of it.

Our vision is to remove the frustrations and complexity of technology and open our customers' up to a world of new ideas, experiences, and opportunities. We love technology, we've read the manuals and we're serious about making technology fun and simple for you.

What do we do?

All of our services are performed by a highly trained gizmotech who visits you in the comfort of your own home at an appointment time of your choosing. Some of the services available through the Dell online shop include:

- Set up, networking and installation services To make it easy for you to purchase a new computer or upgrade from an older one, gizmo’s set up, networking and installation services are can help you set up your computer for the first time, get your data transferred, your hardware and software installed and your wireless network set up.

ONSITE SERVICE : Technician, replacement part or unit (depending on service contract) will be dispatched if necessary following phone-based troubleshooting. Subject to parts availability, geographical restrictions (on site and/or next business day service not available in some locations) and terms of service contract. Service timing dependent upon time of day call placed to Dell. Defective unit must be returned or paid for. Replacements may be refurbished .

COMPLETECOVER: service is available for personal computers, Axim PDAs, Dell branded projectors and LCD TV. CompleteCover excludes theft, loss, and damage due to fire, intentional damage, acts of God or natural disasters, animals, pets or pests. Customer may be required to return unit to Dell. For complete details refer to CompleteCover service agreement found at www.dell.com/ap/services . This service is only available in selected countries.
