What is CompleteCoverTM ?
Dell's most comprehensive repair and replacement service for DellTM system users ever.
CompleteCoverTM * provides you repair or
replacement of your LatitudeTM or InspironTM notebook PC, your
DimensionTM , Dell PrecisionTM or OptiPlexTM desktop PC, Dell XPSTM and VostroTM desktops and laptops or Dell branded projector for any damage that is caused by accidents- it helps
protect your system against the rough and tumble world of mobile computing and as well as
accidents. A supplement to our 1 or 3 years limited warranty, it covers non-intentional, accidental
damage for 1 or 3 years, depending on your purchase.
Why does Dell offer this?
Because accidents do happen. If your system are exposed to multi-use
(one system serving multiple uses eg. retail, medical, education etc); multi-users (one system being
shared among many users eg. Teleworkers, students, kiosks, shift work etc) or business travelers may
have their laptop jammed into a overcrowded luggage bay or a parent might have a child knock their
computer off a table or drop it down the stairs. CompleteCoverTM *was created to cover these situations.
What kind of damage is covered?
Non-intentional damage that is caused by accidents will be covered. Some examples are:

CompleteCoverTM coverage is applicable only for systems located within the Asia Pacific or in due course of transit within the Asia Pacific region and it is non-transferable outside the Asia Pacific countries.
In the event of a system or part replacement which may require access to an optical device and the customer has opted out of an optical device, Dell reserves the right to decline service until the customer grants Dell access to an optical device to enable support and serviceability.

damage now covers an additional service - the replacement of your notebook or desktop when stolen
from any locked office, home or vehicle within the country of purchase. This service called CompleteCoverTM * Guard completes your
IT needs by providing organizations and individuals with protection from the hefty cost of replacing a
stolen laptop or desktop.

increasingly becoming targets of theft as IT information becomes more important. Laptops and desktops

You can purchase CompleteCoverTM * Guard
directly from Dell when you buy your laptop or desktop and choose
to be covered for one or three years. In the event of theft, Dell spares you the run-around by providing
you a single point of contact.

All claims must be lodged within 7 days after making a police report and, where available
a copy of the report must be provided to Dell, together with photographs
showing forcible entry e.g. Broken door, lock, window and showing address or
