Dell™ High Availability Solutions Guide for Microsoft® Hyper-V™ R2 - This Dell® High Availability Solutions Guide for Microsoft Hyper-V™ R2 white paper captured the failover clustering enhancements in Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V perspective, introduces different options to implement HA for Hyper-V environments, and provides recommendations and best practices for configuring your Hyper-V HA environments on Dell hardware.

New Features to Enchance Microsoft Failover Clustering Support - EqualLogic PS-Series arrays are ideal for use as the shared storage system in the Failover Cluster configuration. PS-Series arrays provide high availability, scalability and manageability. The EqualLogic Host Integration Tools (HIT) Kit is a comprehensive collection of tools/components to facilitate deployment and enhance performance of standalone as well as clustered servers. Read about two new enhancements being introduced with HIT Kit 3.4.1/3.4.2 for Microsoft Failover Clustering: Clustered Shared Volume Support and Dynamic Allocation of iSCSI Connections so that users running Dell Failover Cluster with EqualLogic PS-Series understand better how these features can help them.

NSI Software's GeoClusterTM  extends MSCS by providing the ability to create an MSCS cluster with replicated data volumes. GeoCluster uses patented real-time data replication to provide local copies of clustered data stored on each node of the cluster eliminating a single point of failure. Data is synchronized using standard TCP/IP connectivity allowing nodes to be located almost anywhere. Data integrity is preserved at all times and the replica is protected to prevent accidental modification while allowing access for tape backup purposes or other "read only" uses.
