Consumer Carry-In ServiceConsumer Carry-In Service
This value service requires you to deliver and pick up your System at your own expense, for any repair, to and from Dell’s designated repair centre at your convenient time. Prior to sending your System to the repair centre, you must contact Dell telephone technician for remote diagnosis.                        If the replacement is required, Dell telephone technician will provide you                        the details of your nearest repair centre for drop off.

                       The Dell’s designated repair centres are currently located in 6
                       metropolitan locations, i.e. Homebush, Sydney; South Melbourne,
                       Melbourne; Eagle Farm, Brisbane; Ridleyton, Adelaide; Rivervale, Perth
                       and Fyshwick, Canberra. If you live outside of these locations, upgrade
                       to an In-Home/On-site Service will be a recommended option, where a
                       service technician will be dispatched to your home, following complete
                       remote diagnosis.

Enjoy the convenience of Dell’s In-Home repair service following phone and/or online Remote Diagnosis. For issues covered by your Limited Hardware Warranty, technician and/or part will be dispatched, if necessary, usually within 1 or 2 business days following completion of                        Remote Diagnosis.

CARRY-IN SERVICES: For issues that cannot be resolved remotely after phone-based troubleshooting, you must deliver or ship the failed part or unit to Dell’s designated repair centre. Dell’s designated repair centre provides support on the failed hardware part or unit, repairing or replacing components as necessary. The repair and replacement turnaround time will usually be 3 to 6 business days after receiving failed part or unit (if not service staff will contact you) and is subject to terms and conditions
