The internet is a great way for your kids to learn, have fun and get the most from their lives. It can also expose them to information and images which are just not suitable.

As a parent, you can however minimise these dangers so that you can be sure that your family enjoys all that the computer and internet offer, only more safely.

As part of this Kids Safe Online remote service, we will:

Set up each family member with their own user account Set up a family member with your tailored parental controls in Windows Vista which determine access to websites, programmes and games Show you how to update your parental controls Show you how to run and check activity reports Update antivirus/antispyware software and enable firewall (if required) Answer any questions you might have

After using this service you can rest easy knowing that your family is viewing what you, as a parent, have decided they can, and you know how to alter your controls so they are as up-to-date as possible.

With your permission, we remotely connect to your computer through your broadband internet connection to provide this service. When completed we disconnect from your PC.

Service only available on computers with one of the following operating systems: Windows Vista Home Basic, Home Premium and Ultimate (where Ultimate is not part of a network domain). It is impossible to control all of the information that your family can be exposed to when online. gizmo will only set up the Windows Vista Parental Controls that you have agreed to for one of your family members, and show you how to alter them so that they are as up-to-date as possible. As the content you set up to control is subjective, the filters might not block all of the content that you want them to block, and therefore does not offer absolute protection. Neither the filters nor our services are intended to replace adult supervision and should not be relied upon as a substitute for such supervision.
